We went for food for my 40th birthday last night, 8 of us. The food was 10/10, all homemade. Service was 11/10, warm welcome and couldn’t do enough for us. Definitely be back and definitely be recommending. Made my birthday extra special :-)
Absolutely fabulous hosts - thank you so much for your hospitality. Rooms lovely and the food was absolutely delicious (great portion sizes). Highly recommend.
The host were amazing, really welcoming and nothing was too much for them. The rooms are a good size and comfortable, the breakfast was great quality and a good sized portion. Will definitely go back and recommend to anyone going to that area.
Had a lovely stay at the Cross Hands Hotel for a family function. Nadine and Nichola, who have recently taken over running the hotel were exceptionally accommodating. The breakfast was amazing! Rooms clean and comfy. Highly recommend a stay here.
Spent New Years Eve here. Disco & Karoke in the bar until the early hours 🥳. Stayed the night, lovely room & a cracking breakfast. Thank you very much Nicola & Nadine. xx
The owners were so kind and welcoming, told us they have recently taken over and was a great job between the two of them they are doing! Great conversation with them, very clean and comfortable rooms and great breakfast selection, would definitely be back!
We booked 3 rooms for 1 night stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to cater for our needs with a young baby. The rooms was clean, bathroom was very clean. The one Big downside with all 3 rooms, the beds were so squeeky, therefore did not sleep well. They need to maintain the lovely bed frames and invest in some new matresses, the only reason I am giving them this rating
Watched a football match on Sky Sports. We also had a lovely hot meal. I don't know what the hotel rooms are like, but as the public rooms were so clean and tidy I should think they'd be good.
Went here for a meal this evening with friends. The food was great and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this lovely pub and will definitely be going back again. Thank you to the staff for making our evening so enjoyable. .
Stayed two nights whilst attending a wedding in the town. Perfectly located, ample parking, rooms great and food of a good standard (breakfast is very good). Staff incredibly accomodating and made the stay all the better. Would absolutely stay here again if back in the area.
Had a lovely meal. The home cooked pie of the day was delicious. Didn't have to wait long for food and the staff very warm and friendly too. Dog friendly if you eat in the bar. Definitely recommended.
Wonderful friendly hosts, comfy bed in tastefully decorated surroundings. Breakfast was tasty and service all round was 5*. We also had a fab carvery and again, nothing was too much trouble. Thanks so much.
I had an overnight stay here, the room was very clean, well furnished, the bathroom was spotless. Had food which was top notch. I will stay again. The owner and staff are very friendly and efficient.
Went to Cross Hands Hotel to watch football on their Sky satellite. The service in the pub was excellent, warm and friendly. The beer was great and we had a meal that was really tasty.

Lovely people and great food, really reasonable prices and dog friendly. So accommodating with my nervous boy. Highly recommend
Nice and dog friendly. Wasn't able to get any food as the kitchen was closed which was a shame. We was able to eat food purchased from elsewhere whilst enjoying our drinks. Just a shame we couldn't try the menu there.

What a lovely place, great food and service! The thai green curry restored my faith in pub curry, thank you chef!!!
Great place for a drink after work or for an entire evening. Friendly welcoming staff and plenty of choice when it comes to drinks.
Food was okay. Drink options and atmosphere pretty poor. Landlady was friendly.
Didn't have a room but the food and service was excellent 👌
