This resort was perfect for our family trip. The room was neat and well-maintained. The service was excellent, and everyone was polite. For lunch and dinner had many good options. The property itself is beautiful—clean, spacious, and surrounded by greenery. The open areas like the garden and sitting spaces were peaceful and well-kept, perfect for relaxing in the morning or evening. We felt very relaxed and happy staying here. We would suggest this hotel to friends and family visiting this area. It's a great place to stay and enjoy a calm, natural setting.

We, my family and friends, total 7 spent 2 days in the resort. Courteous staff right from the reception , in fact all were very nice ready to make the guests comfortable. Property is very close to the beach, hardly 50 metres from the sea. We were served excellent, fish 🐠 fry , fish was fresh. We really had some excellent time in the resort. Well I need to add something. I had forgotten my smart watch in my chalet, While on my way back to Mumbai, I get a call from the resort informing me about the watch which they found. They are sending it to me by courier . Excellent 👍👌.

A charming property with a private beach. Pros - Spacious and well-maintained rooms. - The restaurant offers good quality food. - Direct and convenient access to the beach is a major highlight. - Staff is very friendly and cooperative Cons - The cost seems high compared to the services provided. - The Presidential Suite SA sit-out area lacks privacy. - Vegetarian and non-vegetarian food are prepared together, which might not suit strict vegetarian preferences, leading guests to seek other options. - Stray dogs freely roam around the hotel premises.

This place is a hidden gem! We came here for a weekend break and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The resort is clean, green, and right by the beach. Loved the cozy cottages and hammocks under the trees. Truly a slice of paradise!!!! We had a truly memorable stay at Tranquil Beach Resort, Harihareshwar, and a big part of that was thanks to Mr. Savio Thomas, the Senior Manager at the property. From the moment we arrived, he made sure everything was taken care of with a personal touch. Always polite and approachable. His attention to detail and calm demeanor truly reflect the name of the resort—Tranquil. A big thank you to him and the team for such warm hospitality!

Booked room For 1 night in July month Location: Hotel just 2-3 mins walk away from beach. Price: Bit expensive considering Konkan beaches are not that developed like Goa. Food: Dinner options are Konkan / Maharashtra Thali, North Indian. Breakfast buffet is Vada Pav, Missal Pav, Toast, Eggs, Upma. Overall food quality is average. Room: Spacious for a couple

Poor Experience – Not Worth the Visit I rarely leave negative reviews, but this resort experience was deeply frustrating and deserves attention. If you’re planning a peaceful getaway in the Konkan region, this is definitely not the place to choose. Unfortunately, it ended up ruining a day of our trip that we had looked forward to. We reached out to the resort while at Aravi Beach, and were told there were several rooms available—which now makes sense, considering the poor quality of the experience. Here’s what went wrong: Unwelcoming Staff: The hospitality was disappointing from the moment we arrived. One individual, who introduced himself as Mr. Savio Thomas, appeared to be managing the front desk. His approach was not only unprofessional but borderline rude. At no point did we feel like valued guests. Room Conditions: We were a group of four and were given an Executive Suite that was so tight, even three people would have been uncomfortable. The cleanliness was questionable—floors were dirty, linens weren’t fresh, and the bathroom lacked basic hygiene. Unreasonable Tariff & Odd Timings: At ₹6,500 per night, this place is hugely overpriced for what it offers. Check-in is at 2:00 PM, and checkout is at 10:00 AM the next day—which seems designed for maximizing turnover rather than enhancing guest experience. Zero View & Poor Maintenance: The so-called balcony had no view—no greenery, no sea, nothing inviting. While the beach is a short walk away, it was sadly one of the dirtiest beaches I’ve encountered, making it far from the serene experience one might hope for. Check-In Experience: Despite the rain and poor weather, we were made to wait at reception without any guidance. There was no proper system in place, no assistance, and no hospitality from any staff member during the entire process. Rating Summary (Out of 5): Feature Rating Staff Attitude ⭐☆☆☆☆ Room Comfort ⭐⭐☆☆☆ Cleanliness ⭐☆☆☆☆ Price vs Value ⭐☆☆☆☆ Beach/Location Appeal ⭐⭐☆☆☆ Overall Satisfaction ⭐☆☆☆☆

High disappointment with the staff behavior and resturants hygiene. Staff is unprofessional and have zero hospitality protocol. We were served stones in the prawn curry and hairs in solcurry. We asked reception staff to raised complaint against chef but none of them were apologetic. Rooms tarrif is not the worth of the resort condition, in our family room tables, cupboard, chairs bed there were dust all over place. NO cooler, AC were operational in restaurants despite humid and hot weather. You will get stuck in the excluded location with unhygienic food and unprofessional staff. Hotel promotes private beach which they never clean for guest. DONT ever thing to book this resort if you want to explore konkan region beaches. There are plenty of options with better price, service and homemade food.

A Disappointing Experience – Not Recommended My recent visit to this resort turned out to be a major letdown and, quite frankly, a vacation spoiler. Despite being located near Aravi Beach, this property is arguably one of the worst resorts in the Konkan region. We contacted the resort while at Aravi Beach and were surprised to hear that multiple rooms were available at peak time. However, after arriving and experiencing the service firsthand, it became abundantly clear why the occupancy was so low. Key Issues Faced: Hospitality & Staff Behavior: Customer service was shockingly poor. A special mention must be made of Mr. Savio Thomas, who appeared to be the Front Desk Manager. His lack of basic hospitality, unprofessional tone, and dismissive behavior made us feel extremely unwelcome, even during heavy rains. There was zero sense of customer courtesy. Room Quality & Cleanliness: We were allotted an Executive Suite for four guests. However, the room was extremely cramped, barely accommodating even three people comfortably. Cleanliness was subpar—the floors were unclean, the bathroom poorly maintained, and the overall hygiene left much to be desired. Pricing & Check-in Policy: The room tariff was approximately ₹6,500 per night, which is unjustifiable for the kind of room and service offered. The check-in time is 2:00 PM while check-out is at 10:00 AM, giving you barely 20 hours at a premium price. These timings seem designed more for operational convenience than guest comfort. Location & View: While the beach is just a 2-minute walk from the resort, the so-called “balcony” in the room offers no view whatsoever—no garden, no sea, no scenic value. Furthermore, the stretch of Aravi Beach near the property is shockingly dirty, making the location itself underwhelming. Reception Experience: Upon arrival, there was no one at the front desk to assist us. We were made to wait for an extended period with no communication or apology. The entire check-in experience was disorganized and lacked even basic hospitality protocols. Resort Rating Breakdown (Out of 5 Stars): Category Rating Hospitality & Staff ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5) Cleanliness ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5) Room Quality ⭐⭐☆☆☆ (2/5) Value for Money ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5) Location & Beach Access ⭐⭐☆☆☆ (2/5) Overall Experience ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5)

Highly disappointed- before check-in- This was hands down one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a hotel they rate a 3- star property -We arrived early and politely asked if the room could be ready before 1 PM. Instead of any effort or empathy, the staff coldly responded, “We can’t commit to when you’ll get the key.” No apology, no solution—just complete indifference. Staff were so unprofessional- To make matters worse, it was pouring rain, and we were completely soaked. The front desk saw ( Savio Thomas) our condition and still offered no help, not even a place to wait comfortably. The way we were treated was not just unprofessional—it was inhumane- never ever visit here -

Visited this resort on the past weekend with family for 2 nights. Location of the resort is fantastic. Literally a stone throw away from the beach. At night you can actually hear the waves from the verandha. We had booked the presidential room. The wood finish was very different. The room itself felt a little cramped may be because of the extra bed and the wood finish overall.. The rooms were very well decorated and clean. The washroom was very neat and clean. Mini fridge, tv all worked well. The breakfast spread on day 1 was thin may be due low occupancy. On day 2 weekend it was great. Lunch was sumptuous. Specially the Surmai and prawns. Beach itself is very clean and quiet. No commercial activities / water sports here. Its more to relax than for adventures.

We visited this place seeking relaxation from our hectic work life, and to our delight, it met our expectations. The booking process was seamless, and the staff on the call were transparent. They informed us honestly that the room's balcony wouldn’t offer a beach view due to government restrictions, which proved true during our stay — no false promises were made. The property is surrounded by lush greenery, thoughtfully designed to keep the area cool and ensure room privacy. The owner has paid meticulous attention to every detail while designing both the property and the rooms. There’s a private gate providing beach access, along with a shower at the entrance to help keep the premises clean. The rooms are equipped with all essential amenities for a comfortable stay. A dedicated play area is available for children. There’s a well-maintained lawn perfect for enjoying high tea and snacks. A proper dining area is provided for full-course meals. Since our visit coincided with Women’s Day (March 8th), they thoughtfully organized a complimentary high tea with tea and bajjis for all guests. Additionally, they welcomed us warmly with chocolates, flowers, and a surprise cake-cutting event, which was an unexpected and delightful gesture. The complimentary breakfast served each morning was a standout — simple yet delicious, making it the best meal of the day in our opinion. Nearby attractions include the Harihar Eshwar Temple and Ganesh Gali, both of which are well worth visiting. Don’t miss them if you’re in the area! For food lovers, there’s a fantastic pure vegetarian home-cooked unlimited thali at Ashokavan nearby. It’s a must-try, but be sure to book in advance as they often sell out quickly due to their incredible food.

We have visited Tranquil Beach Resort multiple times, and it never disappoints! This is one of the closest and best beach-touching resorts, offering complete serenity and peace. The staff here is incredibly humble, helpful, and prompt—from the resort manager to the support staff, everyone is always smiling and eager to assist. This time, we went for the New Year celebration, and despite the peak season, the resort maintained its charm. It never felt crowded, and there were no queues for food. The beach right next to the resort was almost empty, allowing us to enjoy a peaceful midnight on the beach as we welcomed 2025. Everything about this place is delightful, from the stay to the food. The well-spaced wooden chalets provide privacy and a luxurious experience. We especially enjoyed the private garden and sit-out area of our presidential room—such a fantastic space to unwind! The buffet offered a variety of tasty options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, making every meal a treat. We had an amazing time and will keep coming back again and again. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful, luxurious, and memorable beach getaway!
