We visited with kids and elderly parents, and they all enjoyed the calm setting and simple comforts. However, there were a couple of dogs freely roaming the grounds, which might bother some people. The staff said they’re friendly (and they were), but it would’ve helped if we were told beforehand. Otherwise, the stay was very comfortable, and the kids loved the space to run around. The bonfire evening was the highlight!

Had a wonderful stay at this homestay! We had to choose this out of nowhere but still we had a great experience. The pool was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for a relaxing swim. The room service was prompt and professional — they made sure our room was always tidy and attended to every request quickly. What stood out the most was the hospitality and cooperation from the hosts. They were extremely friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Had a really happy and pleasant stay at Bougainvillea. Nikhil is an superb host and his kids are amazing. Homestay is at pleasant location with services like pool, garden space which makes it top-notch. Really looking forward again to visit again!
It was a nice comfortable stay. I booked the place for my fiance birthday. I enjoyed the stay and the daughter of the owner Adail was the cutest host ever. But only advise is to improve the breakfast options and service. It is a good stay overall..
We had a great time here. The food and service was really good. The home stay is well maintained and they a coffee plantation which gives a pleasant vibe and they also have a pool to chill and games to have some fun. I would recommend this place to all. I will definitely revisit this place.
Awesome experience. We liked it so much that extended by a night more. Wonderful hosts, made sure to go out of way to take care. Amazing home cooked food (we are vegetarians). Nice tidy rooms and bathroom. Pretty new property and well kept and maintained. In middle of coffee plantation. Did bonfire for us every night. Nice location and good for nature lovers, we enjoyed our morning walks in the properties thoroughly. Would recommend to all....
Very well asthetically designed farm house cum homestay with coffee plantation in premise. Hosts were cooperative and helpful. We stayed in the newly built room which were really spacious. Overall a very good experience
Overall it was a nice stay. The location is beautiful with swimming pool. We asked for services which was provided. Breakfast was okay okay. Rooms are okay.. Location and beauty of the surroundings were beautiful
Sincere service and excellent food. Very hospitable people. Inspite of extreme rain and chill weather the very hot and delicious food made us feel warm. This place has the warmth of a homestay and the comfort of a resort. The perfect mix of home and hospitality. Let's start with the home... The infrastructure includes a coffee plantation and many other trees. Lots of greens and extremely comfortable rooms. The food was upto the mark and the adhoc demands from our children and elders were met without hestitation. All our culinary expectations were fulfilled. And now about the best part of the stay... The family behind the efforts.. Kiran, his wife and his young children... All and toiling every single minute to service the guests. Our family of almost 20 people were amazed by their service standards. Kirans son Samit was outstanding in att nding to our requirements. We had such a wonderful time there. Thanks a lot for making our vacation memorable. We are going home with lots of positive energy...

The room was worse than the hostel room and the price was like some 3 star hotel. The property was not at all worth that much money for 1 day. The swimming pool has not been cleaned for a long long time.
My recent stay at Bougainvillea was an absolute delight! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed in a warm and pleasant atmosphere. Kiran the Owner and his Son Samith were incredibly kind and attentive, making me feel like a true guest in their home rather than just a room number. All the 5 rooms were charming and impeccably clean. The rooms had a lovely view facing the open garden lawn and the swimming pool. They also had a strong Wi-Fi. What truly set this homestay apart was the genuine hospitality of Kiran and his entire family. The delicious homemade breakfast each morning and local chicken delicacies were the highlight. Kiran even offered helpful tips for exploring the local area. It was evident that he genuinely cares about their guests' experience. The location was also fantastic, it's a 3 acre property with rooms surrounded with nature, nestled in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, offering stunning views. Overall, my stay at Bougainvillea was exceptional. It was comfortable, clean, and filled with genuine warmth. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a personal and memorable travel experience. I will definitely be booking again on my next visit to Chikmagalur.
We visited recently here and stayed for around two days. I must say it was peaceful and a great experience. This includes swimming pool, a big lawn area and campfire. It's a nice place to even chill with a bigger group. Owners are friendly and professional. If I visit Chikmagalur again I would love to revisit this place. This place gives a chilling and peaceful vibes.

Best place to stay. Had a wonderful 2 days spent. Cool place. Surrounded by trees. Totally clean and hygienic rooms and bathrooms. Good non-veg and veg food served in morning and night. Best part - Pet dogs and a cat let free to buy and calm. Must visit place

One of the Best place I found in recent years .. the proprietor Mr. Kiran is a very kind and friendly person .. he took a bit extra care for us more than what he committed. As a Muslim family he took maximum care about our non vegetarian food preparation. And offered us very delicious and variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner . I have promised Mr. Kiran to visit again with my whole family of 30 to 40 persons . And also will visit whenever I come to this area . I give 10 out of 10 points to this home stay ..
This is one of the worst experiences in Chikmagalur I have ever had. Owner is Mr. Money minded. he should change his name for the god sake. He agreed to give the room if we reach early based on room availability. However, soon as we reached he has started demanding extra money inspite the room availability. He doesn't have any concerns about the customer, all he thinks about is money. We have reached early in the morning like 5:30 AM also we had few girls along with us he didn't care and didn't provide room. We visited several places and had to take room in the afternoon as he kept asking for additional money. Hello asked for 200 per person per hour. Also this resort is in the city and not so good.

From the moment we arrived,we were warmly welcomed by the hosts who made us feel right at home. The room was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully decorated, with all the amenities for a comfortable stay. The peaceful surroundings and stunning views of the mountains added to the charm, making it the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The highlight of our experience was the hospitality of the hosts(Ravi Kiran and Darshan)—they were always available to offer tips on local attractions. Food provided during our stay was excellent homemade meals and snacks that made us feel like part of the family and made this homestay special.good honour good fool
